Hijab is in the eyes - lowering gaze and only looking at halal.
Hijab in our touch sense - Not touching non-mehrems and getting close to them.
Hijab in our hearing - Doing our best to only listen of the good
Hijab in the outer shell - Wearing modest clothes by covering our hair, covering our body.
Hijab in our inner shell - Doing our best to keep modest in our actions and duties to Allah ta’ala.
Hijab is a protection against jealousy - People being less vain and not trying to compare their figures of “who’s the best looking one”.

Those “hijabs” are for both men and women.

At least by men/women being covered, they’re not asking for “hey, look at me, I’m so hot”… they’re hijab image is saying “look at how Allah ta’ala blessed me with so that I may be protectected from stares”. I mean yes hijabi girls get stared at, but just imagine if they wore much less clothes than that?

It also gives people a sense of shame and it makes people compete less on their looks. I’m not saying that people can’t dress themselves up but wearing hijab keeps people humble.

Hijab does not keep rapists away. This kind of logic implies that a woman in Hijab doesn’t deserve to get raped while one without Hijab does. And that is wrong, the whole point of this picture (and the Slutwalk in DC which is where it was taken if I’m not mistaken), is to educate people that rape isn’t about what you wear, where you go, or who you’re with.

Rape isn’t something you “ask for” or something you can prevent from happening to you by dressing a certain way, avoiding certain places and behaving in certain manners. Until you understand the dynamics of rape and how it is about power, control, and influence instead of “hey she looks hot and isn’t wearing Hijab”, please refrain from reducing something as traumatic as rape to what a woman wears.

We all have our subconscious in our mind that will point us to the greater good in which we are all deserved. We all have the mentality to be the greatest, more than anyone in the entire world, but the entire world sets us back because he knows once a powerful driven force is created, it cannot be stopped.
